About Mr. Uniyal
Assistant Professor, Law College Dehradun, Uttaranchal University. Born on 4th March 1991, Dr. Vaibhav Uniyal received his elementary education at Riverdale High School, Dehradun, and completed his secondary education at Marshall School, Dehradun. Post-secondary education, he completed his BSC from Graphic Era University Dehradun and LL.B. and LL.M. both from Law College Dehradun (HNB Garhwal University and Uttaranchal University) respectively. He accomplished his Ph.D. from Uttaranchal University under the supervision of Prof. Rajesh Bahuguna on the topic ‘Panchayat Raj in India: A Study in The Light of The Constitution (seventy-third Amendment) Act, 1992 with special reference to The State of Uttarakhand.’ He specializes in Constitutional Law and Administrative Law.
He has 6 years of working experience which include 5 years of service as an Assistant Professor at Law College Dehradun, Uttaranchal University Dehradun, and 1-year of practice as an advocate at the District Court of Dehradun.
He is the Member- Editor of Dehradun Law Review: A Journal of Law College Dehradun, Uttaranchal University. He has published 28 research papers in National and International Journals and has participated in a series of events as a Chair, and Judge in Moot Courts and at times as a participant. With an internationally published book entitled “Panchayat Raj in India: Remembering the Forgotten”, Dr. Vaibhav Uniyal has also been awarded “The Best Inspirational Teacher of The Year Award” in 2022 by Avishkaar Foundation, Solapur, Maharashtra. More than 35 Law Graduates and 2 Post Graduates in Law have completed their dissertations under his guidance and supervision so far. He has volunteered as a member of the organizing team (under the noble supervision of Prof. Rajesh Bahuguna) in the organization 5 legal Awareness Camps and 5 Mega Voluntary Blood Donation Camps to celebrate Constitution Day which hitherto has received donations of more than 5000 units of blood. Currently, Dr. Vaibhav Uniyal is holding the Post of Assistant Professor of Law College Dehradun, Uttaranchal University
