About Justice Kumar
Mr. Justice M.M. Kumar is former Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court and dealt with many Public Interest Litigation related to public interest. Justice Kumar completed his L.LB from the Punjabi University, Patiala in the year 1977, in the same year he started his law practice and got enrolled with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.
He is a law graduate from the University of Birmingham, LL.M from England in 1982. He conducted the Court proceedings during floods in September 2014, also served as the Chairman of the Company Law Board as the founder President of the National Company Law Tribunal. He has joined as a member of the National Human Rights Commission, (NHRC)
