About Mr. Jasrotia
Mr. Jasrotia is a professor of Law at the University of Jammu which is NAAC A+ University. His administrative experience in the University of Jammu includes Inter Alia Director, College Development Council, Head and Dean, Faculty of Law, Nodal Director, ChildLine Project, Director, The Law School. Chairman, Campus Cultural Committee, to name a few, He remained a member of a number of Key Statutory Committees of the university. His area of specialization is constitutional law, environmental law, and human rights law.
He has guided ten Ph.D. and a number of LL.M scholars. He has traveled extensively in India and abroad and has published research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
He has also attended a study session on Human Rights organized by the International Institute of human rights at Strasbourg (France) from June 30 to July 25, 2003, & got a scholarship to attend International University of Human Rights Teaching and Research Program (CIEDHU) organized by IIHR at Strasbourg (France).
